Project Description

Logo design seems to be the life blood of graphic designers. I’ve been at it for a while, and so I’ll just show a few of the identities I’ve created, along with some of the collateral that has been created to support the identity.

I actually find it hard to separate a mark from the brand experience of a business, and I believe they need to be thought of as a holistic package, not as disconnected objects for business use. So, for me, I try to understand the broader context of a mark’s use, where we can extend elements into other brand elements, and how that can be built into a more usable brand identity as a whole.

The largest boutique pear grower in Oregon, they wanted a logo that could be extended into other products, and be a little more upscale.
Alaska Airlines Women In Tech word mark
Story Mill: Logo created for a commercial development company in Montana that was working to repurpose an abandoned flour mill and turn it into a shopping center.
Logo created for construction company that focused primarily on interior and finish work.
The largest web hosting company in Canada. They wanted to create a strong official Canadian image, along with some details they felt were necessary.
Logo created for a publisher focused on alternative health information.
Logo and some other collateral developed for a law firm focused on legal management of firearm ownership.
This identity was created for a startup internet research company.
